To answer Darth Necron's question: I've been aware of the existence of Captain Carrot and His Amazing Zoo Crew for several years now thanks to websites such as Wikipedia and TV Tropes. However, while I have read plenty of comics from DC over the years, not a single one of them featured Captain Carrot and his buddies. And according to Wikipedia, their appearances outside of the comics have been pretty limited. If I had more exposure to these characters, I might be tempted to have them meet the Looney Tunes. But instead, I'm gonna focus on DC characters I'm at least quite familiar with (and there are plenty to choose from). Also, I watched Matt Reeves' The Batman. Initially, I was excited when it was announced he would direct this movie given that I enjoyed his Planet of the Apes movies. But subsequent news regarding this Batman movie never managed to get me all that excited as I initially was. Well, after watching that movie... I thought it was just okay overall. It's not bad, but I
And back with another chapter. But before we get to it, I have two things to say. A while ago, I finally saw Space Jam: A New Legacy. Yep, finally saw it about two years after its release. And what did I ultimately think of it? Well... I surprisingly enjoyed it. Maybe it's because I had pretty low expectations, but it was more entertaining than I was expecting it to be. Mind you, I have several problems with this movie (there were certainly several wasted ideas in it, which prevented it from being an overall pretty good sequel), but I shockingly ended up liking it more than disliking it. I don't think it's as good as either the original Space Jam or Looney Tunes: Back in Action, but for a sequel that didn't need to exist, I had a good time watching it (for the most part, of course). With that said, I don't think I'm going to defend it against those who didn't like it. There are plenty of controversial movies I'm willing to defend against those who didn't like them, like Spider-Man 3
Well, Darth Necron, the previous chapter was not the first time in this story where I allowed DC characters to swear. Whereas I am not willing to let the Looney Tunes swear given that they are supposed to be characters suitable for people of all ages, I am willing to let DC characters swear because it is something they've been able to do on a regular basis in the comics since at least after the Silver Age (not sure if it was since the Bronze Age or at some point after that, though). This fanfic is rated T for Teen, after all, so I wouldn't call it kid-friendly either. With that said, I've avoided using stronger swear words that would make this fanfic be rated M for Mature, like the F-word for instance. The use of the B-word, by comparison, is less coarse and thus suitable for this fanfic's age rating. As for Harley, it would be a bit hard for me to make her the same version as the one from her 2019 TV series given that I've never seen any episode from it beyond a few scenes I came
Jackalope89, I know who Jon and Damian are. I've been aware of their existence for nearly as long as they existed. However, like I said before, I refuse to say which characters will show up next, or else I would be revealing any spoiler. Also, I haven't seen The Batman nor DC League of Super-Pets yet, so once again, don't spoil anything that happens in these movies to me and don't share your opinion on it to me if you have seen either of them. I don't want to be influenced by anyone's opinion before seeing them. With that said, I did finally watch Joker months ago. I'll be honest, I was quite reluctant to see this movie given that it seemed like a movie that would be too dark and pretentious for my tastes… and it is part of the reasons why I did not fell in love with it. I can kinda see why others fell in love with it, but it did not resonate with me. As such, don't expect me to make a reference to that movie in this fanfic. When it comes to DC Comics and Looney Tunes-related stuff, I
Flash XS guy: I've decided a long while ago to no longer reveal in advance whether a character is going to appear in this fanfic or not. Otherwise, it would be like if the Russo Brothers revealed the various cameos featured in Avengers: Endgame before that movie was even released. I already wrote the following chapter before I posted the previous one. However, I still needed to review it for the final version and I didn't want to post it before it had been at least one week since the previous chapter. But without further ado and two weeks later, here it is. Chapter 13: Darkness, No Parents In the warden's office, the warden in question was sitting on a chair, with his hands tied behind his back. He had blond hair and was wearing a grey business suit and black shoes. He was terrified not only because seven inmates were surrounding him, but also because of the presence of the man responsible for this entire event. It was a middle-aged man with slick black hair and a pointy nose, while
Well, Darth Necron, this fanfic takes place in a universe that's a mix between the DC Animated Universe and the comic book universe. The Justice League roster is pretty much the same as the DCAU, but I'm also including elements never featured in the DCAU, such as Clark and Lois being married (although initially, they weren't together until I decided later on to have them be together in response to the New 52 era having them be no longer together, a mistake that was fixed with DC Rebirth) or characters like the Kapatelis. As such, the DC universe featured in this fanfic is not 100% like the DCAU, if you're wondering why Wonder Woman's personality is not exactly how she was portrayed in the Justice League animated series. Also, Diana is not 'obsessed' with Steve Trevor in this fanfic. Just because I made her say that she loves him with all her heart doesn't mean she's obsessed with him. By comparison, Candace being in love with Jeremy in Phineas and Ferb or Amy Rose being in love with
First of all, I want to thank Darth Necron for taking the time to leave a review for every single previous chapter. Very appreciated. Here are my answers to some of his reviews: I'm not planning on using any character from Loonatics Unleashed. I don't hate that show, but I don't love it either. Also, I've said it before, and hopefully I'll say it again for the last time, but Lola in this fanfic is a mix between the Space Jam version and the one from The Looney Tunes Show. And lastly, I never intended for Cyborgirl's defeat to be similar to how Brainiac was defeated in that one episode of Static Shock. Mostly because while I have seen that episode (it's one of the few Static Shock episodes I've ever seen), I've only seen it once and that was about a decade ago. As such, I completely forgot how Brainiac was defeated in that episode. Any similarity to it is thus completely coincidental. Flash XS guy: Look, I get it. You want to see Taz in this story. You already told me that twice
