Well, to answer Nightw2’s question, I decided to use Bugs as Remy instead of Speedy because of many reasons.

1-At first, I choose Speedy for playing Remy because I thought this character deserve to play the main character of a story for once. But since Speedy will play Flash in my parody of Justice League (as well as the fact Warner Bros. MAY do a live-action movie based on Flash AND Bugs won’t play any character, so far, in my parodies of DC Comics’ movies) and the fact he will play Mantis in my remake of Kung Fu Panda, I felt MORE like I wanted to work with Bugs for this parody.

2-All the rats will be played by Looney Tunes (hence the title “Looneytouille”). So, I thought it would be more logical to have the main character of the Looney Tunes series as Remy instead of a secondary one.

But now that I think about it, it’s true that I’m giving much more roles to Bugs than to Speedy. I think I’m gonna go back to my original idea for the Ratatouille parody: giving the role of Remy to Speedy while using Bugs and Daffy as extras with him. It’s gonna be better that way, especially since Daffy wouldn’t be an extra if I decided to stick with Bugs.

As for your suggestion, I’ll use it. However, Jafar won’t be puzzled. I mean, he’s playing Ganondorf and the latter appeared in SSB Melee. So, Jafar is supposed to have been part of the previous tournament. Then, he’s supposed to have fight some of the Looney Tunes (who are very well known for breaking the fourth wall). So, he should know that some other cartoon characters can break the fourth wall.

And to answer Papa T’s review from my Bathog story: well, I let Sonic using the Batmobile because the latter had a computer and a TV screen. I don’t think Sonic is strong enough to carry a computer on him and using it while running. But don’t worry about it. When I’ll do the parodies of the Nolan movies, Sonic will never use the tumbler. And he will use the Batmobile only if it is really necessary.

To answer Nightw2’s review from that same story, about Hades’ abilities. Yeah, that’s something I didn’t focus enough to pay it attention. At least, the Hades robots were able to shoot fireballs from their hands like guns.

Time to see who is playing Fox McCloud (some of you probably already recognized him).

Chapter 6 : He’s a Phantom

In the jungle, the mighty jungle… Oops! Wrong story. Anyway, Jake was making his way through the jungle while spinning. After a while, he stopped spinning.

“If only I could find some help, I could help my brother.” The young tasmanian devil looked to his right. He saw a lake. Not any kind of lake. The same lake where the black and white blur that was seen in chapter 2 and chapter 3 crashed near it. The blur was in a hole he made after crashing. “What is that?” asked Jake to himself.

The young tasmanian devil came near the hole. Suddenly, a very huge thing came from the water in the lake. Jake was scared as he saw the thing. It was long robotic Loch Ness Monster-kind creature that was controlled by a teenager. This teenager has black hair, freckles, crooked teeth and grayish skin. He was wearing a black t-shirt, a red shirt with black stripes and rolled up sleeves, blue jeans and white sneakers. His name is Terrence.

“Ah! I found you!” exclaimed Terrence when he spotted Jake. The latter backed away in fear. Unfortunately for the young tasmanian devil, Terrence grabbed him with the arm of his robotic creature. “You are not human. So, you must be one of those stupid imaginary friends! I hate them so much! Even this idiotic Red!”

Jake tried to escape the robotic creature, but he couldn’t.

“Going Ghost!”

Suddenly, the black and white blur came from the hole, flied very fast towards the robotic creature and hit it. The latter releashed Jake who landed on the ground.

“What the…?” asked Jake to himself.

Then, the blur came near Jake and stopped to do anything, revealing himself. It was a fourteen year old boy with white hairs and green eyes. He was wearing a black suit with the initials DP on it, white gloves, a white belt and white boots. His name is Danny Phantom AKA Danny Fenton.

“Are you okay?” asked Danny to the young tasmanian devil.

“Yeah. I’m fine.”

They turned to see Terrence and his robotic creature.

“Hey! Ghost Boy!” yelled Terrence. “Leave us alone! I’m planning to torture imaginary friends and I’M gonna torture imaginary friends!”

Danny turned to see Jake’s appearance. Then, he turned to see the teenager.

“What makes you think he’s an imaginary friend anyway? Maybe he’s only an antropomorphic animal like any other one. Besides, how can a boy like you was able to afford this giant robot?” asked the halfa.

“It’s none of your business, ghost boy!” exclaimed Terrence. “If he thinks I’m gonna tell him that I stole Madame Foster’s fortune to buy this robot and using it to exterminate the imaginary friends, he’s a sucker.” thought the teenager.

Danny turned to the young tasmanian devil.

“Are you ready to help me against this boy?” he asked.

“Sure!”

“If that’s the case, let’s go!”

Terrence moved his robot to the ground and started fighting Danny and Jake. First, the robot shooted lasers from his mouth. Danny used his intangibility on him and on Jake to avoid it. Then, the halfa shooted some ecto-blasts on the robot. Jake used his spin on it as well.

“You can’t defeat me, losers!” exclaimed Terrence.

The robots charged towards the heroes, hitting them. The halfa groaned as he stood up.

“Usually, I’m fighting ghosts. But in that case, I’ll make an exception!”

The halfa shooted more ecto-blasts on it. Suddenly, the robot caught him with his arm. After roaring on his face, he slammed him on the ground and crushed him with his back.

“Take that, loser!” exclaimed the teenager.

“Hey! Let him go!” Jake charged towards the robot. This time, he tried to bite him. However, his teeth soon broke after this. He took a denture from a hidden pocket and put it inside his mouth. Then, he charged again the robot and was able to freed Danny. “Hey! Are you alright?” he asked.

“Ugh… Yeah, I’m fine.” As he stood up, Danny looked at the robot. He glared at it. “Alright. I have other things to worry about. Let’s finish this now!” He took a Smash Ball from his pocket and crushed it. “GHOST HOWL!”

Soon, the halfa send a ghostly wail on the robot. The latter started to spark and going haywire.

“Uh-oh! This doesn’t look good.” said Terrence.

BOOM!

The robot exploded, sending the teenager on the air.

“It looks like I’m blasting off again!” yelled Terrence as he flew off into the distance.

Strangely, a star twinkled from where he was sending to. Anyway, both Jake and Danny cheered after this.

“Alright! We did it! We beat that mean kid! That was awesome” exclaimed Jake.

“Glad to see that. Well, see you next time, young devil.” said Danny as he started leaving the place.

Seeing this, Jake quickly grabbed Danny, stopping him to go anywhere.

“Hey! Listen to me! I need your help! My brother has been kidnapped and I need somebody to…” However, the young tasmanian devil noticed that Danny was leaving again, not caring about him. “Hey!” exclaimed Jake as he grabbed him again. He even dragged him away. “I need your help and you’re gonna help me.”

The halfa used his intangibilty to free himself from the tasmanian devil.

“That’s enough!” exclaimed the halfa. He sighed as he said “Look, I would like to help you saving your brother and all. But I have important things to do. I must stop this aircraft carrier who is responsible for this invasion.”

“But who else could help me to save Taz?” asked Jake, worried.

Suddenly, Danny arched his eyebrow. Jake surely said something that got him interested.

“Wait, what? Taz? Your brother? Is it a brown tasmanian devil who can’t talk normally?” asked Danny.

“Yes. That’s him.”

“Why not saying so!” exclaimed the halfa. “I know who is Taz. We both have been in the previous Super Smash Bros. tournaments.”

“Does that mean you will help me?” asked Jake hopefully.

“Well, I still have to stop that aircraft carrier. But saving an old friend is a different thing. So, I’m gonna help you to save Taz.”

“Alright! Whoo-hoo! That’s great! You are the nicest guy in the world, you know that? By the way, what’s your name? I’m Jake Tasmanian Devil.”

“I’m Danny Phantom, also known as Danny Fenton.”

“Wait a minute… aren’t you the guy who stopped that asteroid some months ago?”

“Yeah, that was me.” said Danny with a smile.

“That’s cool! A legendary hero is helping me! Hurray!”

“Enough with talking. Let’s find your brother.”

Now, you are probably wondering who is this Danny Phantom anyway? Ah! Who am I kidding? Of course, you ALL know who is Danny Phantom! But for the VERY few of you who don’t know who is this guy, let me tell you his story.

Danny Fenton was just fourteen when his parents built a very strange machine. This machine was designed to view a world unseen, where ghosts are living there. When it didn't quite work for his folks, they just quit. Then, one of his friend, a goth girl named Samantha Manson, convinced him to check the machine. However, Danny accidentally pushed a button while inside the machine. There was a great big flash, everything just changed and his molecules got all rearranged. When he first woke up, Danny realized he had snow white hair and glowing green eyes. He could even walk through walls, disappear and fly, much more unique than the other guy.

That day, he became a halfa; half-ghost, half-human. Ever since that day, his life became similar to Spider-Man’s life, except the fact he wasn’t a nerd, just somekind of loser. Danny fought everykind of ghosts and monsters you could imagine in Amity Park. Ghosts such as Skulker, Ember McClain, the Box Ghost, Penelope Spectra, Johnny 13, Technus, Pariah Dark, Dan Phantom and, of course, his archennemy: Vlad Masters AKA Vlad Plasmius. Only his two best friends, Sam and Tucker Foley, were aware of his secret since they were there when the accident happened. Soon, his sister Jazz learned about it as well.

Danny also fought ghost hunters such as the Guys in White and Valerie Gray. One day, Plasmius became the Mayor of Amity Park, much to Danny’s dismay. Then, a big asteroid, that not even a ghost could destroy, was about to hit the Earth. Plasmius tried all his best to destroy hit, but failed. Danny, however, was able to save the Earth with the help of pretty much every ghosts from the Ghost Zone. After saving the Earth, Danny revealed to his parents (as well as everyone else) his secret. Since that day, Danny became a respected hero, loved by everyone. Tucker replaced Plasmius as the Mayor. As for Danny and Sam, they finally decided to go ahead and told their feelings to each other, becoming officially a couple.

Let’s go back to see Danny and Jake.

The heroes made their way as they tried to search for the missing tasmanian devil. Along the way, Jake explained to the halfa what happened earlier.

“Elmer Fudd was the one who did that? I’m wondering why he would have done that anyway.” said the halfa.

“I don’t know, myself.” said the young devil.

“Whatever this hunter is planning to do, let’s hope it’s not something so bad.”

While searching for Taz, they came across the Gashouse Gorillas again, as well as Cecil Turtle’s cousins. Danny and Jake used their respective abilities. Then, they saw an Assist Trophy.

“Danny! An Assist Trophy here!” exclaimed Jake.

“I’ll take care of this!” said Danny.

The halfa quickly flied to the Assist Trophy. As he held it up, again, another character appeared. It was a middle-age man with a large chin, muscular forearms and anchor tattoos on those arms. He wears a white sailor hat, dark blue sailor shirt with the inside being red and white dots, blue pants, white belt and black shoes. In his mouth, there was a corncob pipe. His right eye was also lost. His name is Popeye.

“Oh! What I am doing here?” asked the sailor with a gravelly voice.

“Hum, sir? What’s your name?” asked Jake.

“Me? I’m Popeye the Sailor Man.” answered Popeye.

“Alright, Popeye. Would you mind helping us against those evil baseball players?”

“Sure, why not?” said Popeye with a shrug. Soon, the sailor charged into the baseball players. However, the Gashouse Gorillas were numerous compared to the lone sailor. They were able to hit him many times with their baseball bats. After a while, Popeye was dazed. “Ooooh… I can’t stand no more! I need some spinach.” The sailor grabbed a can of spinach from his pocket. While a certain famous music was heard in the background, Popeye squeezzed the can until the top opened and ate the spinach. Then, his arms bursted before showing the picture of a tank on it. “That was delicious as usual. Let’s take care of those bad guys.” he said before laughing like he usually do.

Soon, the sailor grabbed one baseball player and punched him hard in the face with his fists. Then, he grabbed another one and threw it to the others. He was really strong against those bad guys, thanks to his spinach. After a while, Popeye beat every ennemies around here.

“Hey there! Thanks for helping us, Popeye!” said Danny to the Sailor.

“It was a pleasure, kid.” said the sailor. Soon, he started to sing.

Popeye: I’m strong to the finich

‘Cause I eat me spinach

I’m Popeye the Sailor Man!

The sailor winked at the readers before smoke came from his pipe. Then, he disappeared.

“What a strange guy…” said Danny. “At the same time, he was also charismatic. Anyway, let’s continue.”

Later, the halfa and the young devil were still searching for Taz.

“I hope Elmer didn’t do anything bad to him ever since he captured him.” said Jake, worried.

“Don’t worry. We are talking about Elmer Fudd, the guy who RARELY have been able to defeat Bugs Bunny. So, I don’t think Taz will be harmed or anything like that.” said Danny.

“Yeah, I guess you’re…”

“WATCH OUT!”

Suddenly, Danny jumped on Jake, pushing him out of the way. A black arrow came towards them, but missed them. As they stood up, the heroes saw an old ennemy…

“Elmer Fudd!” they both exclaimed.

“What have you done with my brother, bald man!?” exclaimed Jake, more angry than ever. However, Elmer didn’t answered. Also, there was something strange about him. It was like he was covered by a purple aura. “Hey! Did you lose your tongue or what?”

Suddenly, another Assist Trophy appeared. This time, the hunter was the one who grabbed the trophy. As he held it up, another character appeared. However, Danny’s eyes widened as he couldn’t believe who appeared this time. It was a man with blue skin. He looked like a vampire with his red eyes and sharp teeth. His hair was black with white in the middle. They were even shaped like devil’s horn. He also had a black goatee. He was wearing a white shirt, a white cap with red on the inside, white pants, black boots and black gloves. His name is Vlad Masters, also known as Vlad Plasmius. The latter grinned as he saw the young halfa.

“Plasmius!” exclaimed Danny.

“Well, well, Daniel. I never thought I would see you again.” said Plasmius to his archennemy. Then, his face turned to anger as he exclaimed “Especially after your father abandonned me in space!”

With a determinated face, Danny turned to see Jake.

“Jake, take care of Elmer. As for me, I’LL take care of Plasmius.”

“If you said so.” said Jake.

Soon, the ghost boy flied towards his archennemy, ready to beat him once and for all. However, Plasmius was even more ready as he shooted ecto-blasts that even Danny wasn’t able to avoid. The latter fell to the ground. As he stood up, the halfa charged towards Plasmius. The latter flied towards him as well and quickly punched him in the face. Again, Danny fell to the ground.

“Come on, Daniel. You, the now-beloved hero of Amity Park, can’t stand up against me? Ha! This is so funny!” said Plasmius with a grin.

“Geez! How is it possible that I can’t defeat Plasmius?” wondered the halfa.

Quickly, Jake took the instruction booklet of the Super Smash Bros. Brawl game.

“The instructions say that the Assist Trophies are almost all invincible.” said the young devil.

“Oh! Man! This is worse than when Sam was trapped into that crystal.” said Danny. “Assist Trophy or not, Plasmius will eat my fist!”

The halfa stood up and resumed his fight with his archennemy. Meanwhile, Jake was facing Elmer.

“I’m asking you again: where’s my big bro?” asked the young devil. The bald man didn’t answer. He only kept shooting at Jake with his riffle. The young riffle was able to avoid all of them. “Are you deaf or what!? WHERE’S TAZ?!?” he asked angrily. Suddenly, Elmer shooted on Jake and the latter became ashes. A few seconds later, the young devil was back to normal. “Alright! That’s it! I have enough of this!”

From a hidden pocket, Jake took a Smash Ball. After crushing it, Jake appeared with two huge water pistols in his hands and springs under his feet. Soon, he shooted a lot and a lot of water on Elmer. The latter was thrown to a wall made of rock. The bald man fell unconscious and became a trophy. At the same time, Jake shooted water on Plasmius’ eyes. The latter screamed.

“Aaaah! My eyes! You stupid devil! When I’ll get my hands on you…”

“Too late!”

Danny took this time to punch Plasmius with all his might. The latter fell to the ground. As he stood up, he glared angrily at the young halfa.

“Fenton! You’ll regret to have done this!”

Angrily, the mean halfa charged towards Danny. Suddenly, he disappeared in a flash.

“I think Vlad forgot that he was here AS an assist trophy.” said Danny with a smirk.

The halfa was joined by Jake, whose Final Smash finished when his water pistols and springs disappeared.

“Alright! Oh! Yeah! That was great! Whoo-ooh!” exclaimed Jake.

“Yep! We did it.”

Jake came near the bald man’s trophy and smirked.

“Who is the loser now? It’s you!” However, the trophy dissolved in itself, much to the heroes’ surprise. “What the…?”

Suddenly, a black arrow appeared and went towards the heroes. The latters avoided it in the nick of time. Then, they saw the REAL Elmer Fudd in front of them, with a dark cannon.

“Fawewell, hewoes!” said the bald man as he shooted another black arrow to them.

BOOM!

The black arrow did an explosion. Jake came out of the explosion with an angry face.

“That’s not nice! I’m gonna teach you such a lesson…”

“We have to leave that place!” exclaimed Danny.

The halfa grabbed the young devil by his shirt and flied away from the hunter. Danny jumped off a cliff and flied into the sky, still holding Jake.

“Heheheheheheheh!” laughed Elmer.

End of chapter.

Jake found a new ally, who happens to be Danny Phantom. Will they be able to save Taz? You won’t know the answer in the next chapter. Instead, we’re gonna see a small town from Colorado. And the bad language will finally begin as well. You can guess which cartoon characters we’re gonna see next time.

As you can guess, Danny is playing Fox McCloud. I like classic cartoons, but I also like some recent cartoons as well. So, expect to see other DP characters as Falco and Wolf. Terrence (from Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends), played the part of Rayquaza. Yes, the Foster’s character are playing the Pokémon characters. I choose Terrence for the part because, of all the Foster’s baddies, he was the most interesting one. Besides, I REALLY didn’t want to use Duchess. Not that I hate her, mostly because I don’t think she deserves to appear in this story.

Here, we have Popeye the Sailor, playing another Assist Trophy: Little Mac. I even included the last lyrics of his famous song. At first, I was thinking about using Asterix the Gaul (a famous European comic books hero) for playing Little Mac, but Asterix isn’t very well-known in USA. Instead, I choose a classic cartoon character, which is Popeye. And of course, Vlad Plasmius played Andross.

When Danny said “This is worse than when Sam was trapped into that crystal.”, this was a reference to Star Fox Adventures, where Krystal was trapped into a crystal during the whole game. And yes, Sam was mentionned as an analogue to Krystal. Also, Jake’s Final Smash was based on Diddy’s Final Smash from the original SSBB game.

Also, I decided to go ahead and to start my Super Smash Bros. version of The Lion King, titled “The Smasher King” in the following days. Why? Because it’s gonna take a while before I could finish this Subspace Emissary story and I want to start another parody already. I choose “The Smasher King” because, from what I know, it’s the only story where none of the characters also appear in this Subspace story. So, be prepared (Ha! Got it? Be prepared? Like… Oh! Forget it!) to see in this story in the Super Smash Brothers fanfics section from the Games section.
