Essteka's Ghostbusters 10

I'm glad to see everyone enjoyed the final battle. Time for the final chapter. At the end, I will reveal which upcoming fanmake I'll be working on.

Chapter 10: I Ain't Afraid Of No Ghosts

The clouds in the sky were gone while the rooftop was a complete mess. At the same time, the Ghosbusters were protected by the green shield made by Green Lantern's ring. Seeing that everything was over, John stopped using the ring, making the shield disappeared. They looked around, noticing all the slime covering the area.

"Good thing John has his ring. No need to take a bath to remove all the slime I could have get." commented Bugs.

It was at this time that Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash and the rest of the Fantastic Four arrived on the rooftop as well.

"Hey there, guys!" said Flash. Then, he realized he stepped on a slime. He groaned when he saw that. "Disgusting… I'll have to wash my boot, which should take me ten seconds."

"Thanks for the help, guys." said John to his colleagues. "We couldn't have done it without you."

"Yeah, thanks a lot." agreed Reed.

"No problem, Stretch." said Ben.

"You know you can always count on us, honey." said Susan to her husband.

"Sue is right, Reed. You can always count on me… Well, except when I'm on a date." said Johnny while Ben was rolling his eyes.

"We simply did our best… and it worked." said Superman, smiling.

"I guess it's a habit for all of us to save the world so often." added Wonder Woman.

"Yeah! We all did great! Ha-ha!" laughed Mickey. "Isn't that right, Bugs? Bugs?" The mouse turned around and saw Bugs looking at a statue. The statue was one of the dog-like creatures. The rabbit sadly looked at the statue, which was obviously Lola's current form. "Oh, gosh! I'm sorry, pal." said the mouse, feeling bad for his friend.

Bugs sighed as he began walking away. All of sudden, he heard something breaking.

"Now, wait a minute…" he said, arching an eyebrow. He turned around and saw the same statue who started to break by itself. A glove-wearing hand was coming from the statue. His eyes widened in amazement. "Lola!"

Without waiting any moment, Bugs came near the statue and helped breaking it. Soon enough, Superman came near the statue and helped breaking it too. After a while, Lola was soon freed from the statue. The female rabbit was dazzled. Bugs grabbed her and helped her to stand up. He sighed in relief, knowing that she was alive after all.

"Can somebody help me?"

All the others turned around and saw another dog-like creature statue breaking. Ben came near the statue and helped breaking it. After the whole statue was destroyed, SpongeBob was back to normal as well.

"Are you okay?" asked the Thing.

"What… What just happened?" asked the sponge, dazzled as well. He then looked around and noticed the ruins. "Oh, my! The superintendant won't like it when he'll see that." Then, SpongeBob noticed the others around him. "Who are you?"

"Well, we are the Ghostbusters, along with some Justice League members and the rest of the Fantastic Four." replied Reed.

"Are you okay?" asked Mickey to SpongeBob.

"Well, yeah, but… do you like Krabby Patties?" asked the sponge.

The mouse stared at him before chuckling in amusement. This guy survived a disaster and the first thing he does is asking if they like eating one kind of hamburger in particular. Meanwhile, Lola realized where she was and noticed Bugs.

"Bugs… Gosh, I made one big nightmare last night." she said.

"Does it involve a rhyme-speakin' demon possessin' ya?" asked Bugs while Lola looked at him disbelief.

"Don't tell me…"

"Well, look at the bright side. At least, it's over." commented the rabbit.

"You're right." nodded Lola.

She then noticed that Bugs was still holding her. Lola blushed at that and so did Bugs.

"You know, SpongeBob, you are very lucky. You have been part of the biggest crossover event since the Subspace Emissary." said Mickey.

"Really? I'm not sure. I played the game and there was much more character featured there." said Johnny, joking while Mickey was rolling his eyes.

"If you don't mind, we would like to get a sample of your brain." said Reed to the sponge.

"Hum… Okay. As long as it doesn't hurt."

"No need to worry." assured Mr. Fantastic.

At the same time, John was standing up, looking around the city. He proudly smiled at what he saw. He was able to save the world with the help of these people he knows. That was something to be proud of.

"I LOVE NEW YORK!" he yelled to the sky.

Later on, the heroes arrived in the streets, acclaimed and cheered by the many citizens of the town.

Voice off-screen: If there's something strange

In your neighborhood

Who you gonna call?

Chorus: Ghostbusters!

Bugs and Lola waved at the public, smiling at them. Then, Bugs smirked as he grabbed Lola and held her by the arms, tenderly looking at her eyes. Lola smirked back as they both deeply kissed each other.

Voice off-screen: If there's something weird

And it don't look good

Who you gonna call?

Chorus: Ghostbusters!

Voice off-screen: I ain't 'fraid of no ghosts

Mickey waved at the public while Bugs and Lola went into the Ghosbusters ambulance, joining Sandy who was waiting there. Reed waved at the public too, along with the rest of the Fantastic Four.

Chorus: Ghostbusters!

Voice off-screen: An invisible man

Sleeping in your bed

Oh! Who you gonna call?

Chorus: Ghostbusters!

SpongeBob arrived on the street too. He's quickly being taken care by some medics.

Voice off-screen: I ain't 'fraid of no ghosts

I ain't 'fraid of no ghosts

Reed was helping John to get rid of his proton pack. Soon enough, both Superman, Wonder Woman and Flash waved at the public with a smile before leaving the place, with the former two flying in the sky and the later running at full speed.

Who you gonna call?

Chorus: Ghostbusters!

Voice off-screen: If you're all alone

Pick up the phone

And call

Chorus: Ghostbusters!

Soon, all the Ghostbusters went into the ambulance. The cops were trying to free the streets, allowing the heroes to leave. Their fans were still cheering at them.

Voice off-screen: I ain't 'fraid of no ghosts

I hear it likes the girls

I ain't 'fraid of no ghosts

Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!

Who you gonna call?

Chorus: Ghostbusters!

Voice off-screen: If you've had a dose of a

Freaky ghost, baby

You better call

Chorus: Ghostbusters!

Voice off-screen: Let me tell ya something

Bustin' makes me feel good!

I ain't 'fraid of no ghosts

Don't get caught alone, oh no!

Chorus: Ghostbusters!

All of sudden, Taz appeared flying around the streets, scaring the people around him. He then made a raspberry at the readers before continuing to spin around madly.

The End.

And the adventure is done! Thanks to everyone who read and reviewed this fanmake. Very appreciated. I had a lot of fun working on it. I enjoyed it enough to make a fanmake of Ghostbusters II, but that'll be for another time.

Bugs: So, doc, what's your next project?

Me: Well, I decided to do my first Pixar fanmake, which will be a fanmake of the first Pixar movie in fact. That's right! It's time for me to do my Toy Story fanmake. Starring Mario as Woody, Plucky Duck as Mr. Potato Head, Garfield the Cat as Ham, Krypto the Superdog as Slinky, Gonard (from Kappa Mikey) as Rex and Bart Simpson as Andy.

Mickey: But you forgot to tell who's gonna be Buzz Lightyear.

Me: Oh, come on, Mickey. With Mario as Woody, I think it's pretty obvious who's gonna play Buzz. Anyway…
